email attachment size

What is the size limit when sending an email attachment? When I shoot a nice video and want to share it I usually get a message saying that the attachment cannot be added because it is too large. Can I change the setting?

Still need help with sideloading, doesnt work as it should help!

i have busybox, the phone rooted, and sqlite installed

i open cmd prompt as admin, and get to it

cd to SDK install directory
cd tools
adb shell
su
cp /dbdata/databases/com.android.providers.settings/settings.db /sdcard/settings.db
cp /dbdata/databases/com.android.providers.settings/settings.db /sdcard/settings.db.backup
exit
exit
(This should bring you back to your windows command prompt.)
adb pull /sdcard/settings.db %userprofile%desktop
(This should copy the settings.db to your desktop in Windows. Keep your cmd window open, you’ll need it again.)

it doesnt appear to do anything, alot of text comes up after the pull command, but then when i look for settings.db with SQLite i find nothing…………help!

Convert regular contacts to Google contacts… can it be done?

Yeah pretty much that. I like Google contacts but all my contacts are just sitting on my SIM/Phone is there any way I can get them to Google? … Without redoing them all as Google contacts that is. Thanks

Found alot of application errors stopped unexpectedly. Please help.

Hi,

I rooted my phone and removed some applications and then formatted user data. Now my phone is giving me the following errors. Additionally, now the phone no longer can sync with my pc. Please help.

The errors are:

The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

The application My Uploads (process com.google.android.apps.uploader) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

The application Device management (process com.wssyncmldm) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

The application Calendar Storage (process com.android.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Avoid Data plan by using Samsung Captivate

Hi,

I am planning to get a Samsung Captive for just receiving phone calls, text msging, applications and the video feature that come with phone. May I know by rooting the phone would it allow me to use my current SIM card with no data plan ?

Personalized Ringtones

Hey all, is there any way to assign personalized ringtones to text messages. I keep trying to assign one under notification ringtone, but the actual ringtone itself for text messages doesn’t change. Is there something i’m doing wrong? PLEASE HELP!

How do I use Bluetooth to move pictures, etc. to Mac?

I would like to use Bluetooth to manage files to/from my Mac computer. I can do it now as mass storage but Bluetooth would be so convenient.

I have paired with the Mac but seem to loose connection when phone is no longer visible. When I am connected, I select browse phone and get a directory structure but cannot see any files in them – music (have moved 3GB there) or camera (have pictures stored on camera).

A Droid X has no problem sending files to Mac desktop.

finding the UDID on my phone.

Is this just an iPhone thing? I’ve been asked by my co-workers who all have iPhones to send them my UDID. I guess that stands for Unique Device Identifier. Anyone know if Android phones have them??
