Samsung Captivate Forum

ok so as we all know samsung/att failed horrably on the whole gps feature it is just junk nothing to fix it nothing to help it enough to work the correct way.

so my question is i bought a bluetooth gps (adapt ad800) and my friends phone can use it also my laptop can use it. i think the problem for the captivate is it only finds devices that are in pairing mode although i could be wrong about this. is there a way for my phone to detect the device witch can not be put in pairing mode?
